Curation

Born in China, now living between the Netherlands and France, from our cross-border lives, C⁺atalog strives to support Chinese local creatives in their growth.
There are no big labels or passing trends, only a considered selection of pieces from overlooked artisans, independent designers, and emerging studios . Each object is chosen for its ability to engage—through form, craft, or an indefinable sense of individuality.

Contemporary

We are not here to show you red lacquer, dark brown wood, or last century's nostalgia.
Looking at contemporary design history, design has merged and split and merged again. However, when you look closely at a single place, you find people still having their own design language — subtle, specific, rooted in form, material, or emotion.
That subtlety is what C⁺atalog loves, and what we want to bring into our European homes.

Crafts

Traditional crafts are scattered across China over the past decades, even centuries. They've been forgotten, replaced by mass production.
But luckily, a new generation is finding ways to preserve them — through culture, through branding, through the objects themselves. Some of our selections honor this traditional craftsmanship. We're glad to be part of it.

Creativity

If we're advocating for a way of living, we hope it's one with creativity.
Creativity isn't some lofty marketing term — it's just curiosity, boldness, a desire for something different, a piece of joy and the willingness to make it happen. Everyone can live creatively, or at least sense creativity in their everyday lives.

Connect

In an age pulling toward isolation, the world threatens to become separate islands. Someone still needs to build the bridges.
C⁺atalog wants to connect East and West through homeware, because we believe beauty transcends borders and hierarchy.

Plus

In Mandarin, "+" is pronounced "jia" — which happens to mean "home." A happy accident, or maybe the universe winking at us.
Either way, we'll take it.
